The Miller sisters are (from left to right) Tess (16), Marie (19), and Carol Lynn (17).

Marie began performing when she was just 11 years old. At fifteen she recorded an EP with award winning producer Mark Heimermann (dcTalk, Jaci Velasquez) and on the strength of that effort was signed by Curb Records. Two singles from the EP have been released to Christian radio and Marie’s song Cold enjoyed a four month run on the national charts. In addition to singing and songwriting she plays mandolin, guitar, and piano. Marie loves books and movies. At any given moment (day or night) she might be found in her room enjoying a good read or a movie. Her viewing tastes range from modern teen dramas like Joan of Arcadia to BBC produced classics. Marie is the free spirit of the Miller Sisters and if born in an earlier generation would have made a great hippie.

Carol Lynn sings and plays guitar. Until recently she was determined to play division 1 soccer but God had other plans and now she is focusing her time and energy on being a full time member of the Miller Sisters. Having a natural eye for style, Carol Lynn is the sisters’ resident health and beauty expert. With the Miller Sisters Cafe she is able to share her knowledge and love of style with a broader base of girls. Carol Lynn’s love for beauty runs deeper than the physical level and her love for God is an inspiration to her sisters and other family members.

Tess is a multi-faceted performer, who like Marie, started at a young age. Because her goal has always been musical theater, Tess has studied acting and dancing in addition to music. A dream-come-true for Tess would be to sing the role of Christine Daae in a major production of the Phantom of the Opera. With the Miller Sisters she sings, plays piano and provides ample doses of emotional energy. Being the youngest of the trio Tess’ taste bounce back and forth between Sense and Sensibility and High School Musical. She is also the gadget queen of the family and can produce Youtube videos and text as fast as the Marchetta Sisters (Hillary and Haylie’s characters in Material Girls).

The girls live with their parents and other siblings in Northern Virginia.
